Michelle Austin has been with the Animal Medical Center of Greeneville team as a receptionist, since her graduation from the University of Tennessee in May 2009, where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. She graduated from Greeneville High School in 2005, but being raised in the county gave her an appreciation of both large and small animals. She has a strong passion for animals. She believes since animals have no voice someone has to stand up and be their voice. Her desire is to be a faithful voice for their well being.
After graduation from UT in 2009 she married the love of her life, Aaron Austin. They are proud parents of their son, Waylon Joseph, who was born in April 2015. They also have lots of four- legged, furry babies. They have four dogs- Ellie (Yorkie/Daschund mix), Co-Ko (Toy Poodle), Chumlee (Boston Terrier), and Shelby (Golden Retriever). Ellie is a daddy’s girl and Co-Ko is a mommy’s boy. Chumlee loves anyone giving him attention. Shelby is their farm dog. In addition to their dogs, they have two cats- Gus (Maine Coon mix) and Strudel (Siamese). Gus is very loveable and very mischievous. He is always into something. Strudel keeps to herself and is very lazy. She and Aaron also have many goats and cows. She calls it her mini zoo!
